Having the Courage to Take the First Step
Starting something new can be terrifying. Whether it’s prioritizing your health, making a career change, or simply allowing yourself to want more out of life—it all begins with a single step. And let’s be honest, that first step? It’s the hardest one.
I know this firsthand. Taking a leap into the unknown, betting on myself, and embracing the uncertainty of the journey has been one of the most challenging—and rewarding—experiences of my life. There have been highs that made me feel unstoppable and lows that made me question everything. But what I’ve learned is this: staying in the same place out of fear is far more uncomfortable than the risk of moving forward.
So, whatever happiness looks like for you—whether it’s feeling stronger in your body, finding peace in your mind, or making a change that lights your soul on fire—give yourself permission to take that step. No one is ever truly “ready.” Growth happens in the action, not the waiting.
You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to start.
With you on the journey,
Jen
